Apples & Pears bees come from an apiary in the beautiful English Cotswolds. The bees have a wonderful life harvesting nectar and pollen from farmland, pasture, ancient hedgerows, fruit orchards and woodlands.
Apples & Pears lovingly care for their bees and it shows in the products they make. Only the finest quality ‘cappings’ wax is used in Apples & Pears lip balms. Cappings wax seals the honey into the honeycomb and is the best grade of beeswax available.
Once the wax is removed it is slowly warmed and filtered, so as not to destroy its many beneficial properties, and then carefully blended with healing honey, organic cold-pressed plant oils, butters, waxes and extracts.
