For the last 15 years Gwdihw has been selling wonderful Welsh balms all over the world. Their natural, herbal body balms and soothers are designed to target problem areas of the body and lift the spirit.

As well as only ever using natural ingredients, Gwdihw take great care in where they source their ingredients, considering the environment at all times. All the herbs used to infuse their balms are grown locally on a herb nursery in Anglesey.

Gwdihw (pronounced Goody-hoo) actually means owl in Welsh and all Gwdihw’s products have wonderful owl illustrations on the tins.

Gwdihw chose the owl to characterize their brand because owls are widely used to represent wisdom and foresight, and are seen as the keeper of sacred knowledge. Gwdihw’s products ‘tap’ into nature’s bounty and due to this, the owl was seen to very closely symbolise the brands goals and practice, hence the lovely appearance of the owl on all Gwdihw products.
